Certified Surg Tech – Travel Job

About the role

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The position requires preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and supporting the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room for surgery
• Sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment
• Assists surgeons and other surgical staff during procedures
• Maintains a sterile field throughout the procedure
• Ensures patient safety and comfort
• Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure smooth operation of the procedure

Requirements

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Mako knee and hip experience

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

Pay

Commensurate with experience

Schedule

Variable start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM

On-call 1 day per week and every 4th weekend
