About the role
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and provide support to the surgical team while ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgery
- Assist with sterile technique and instrument handling
- Support the surgical team during procedures
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Requirements
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment

Schedule
Days shift with working hours of 0630-1700, with a minimum of 4 call shifts per month.
