About the role
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgery
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of medical equipment
- Support the surgical team in maintaining a sterile field
- Provide patient care and monitor patient conditions
Requirements
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a surgical technology program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- Current certification from NBSTSA
- BLS Certification
- Experience in a surgical environment
