Job Summary
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures.
About the Role
Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgery
- Assist with sterilization of equipment
- Support the surgical team during procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
- 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment (for CVOR positions)
- Knowledge and experience working in a labor and delivery setting
- NRP Certification (for CVOR positions)
