Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Full Time

About the role

Provides anesthesia services under medical supervision, administering general and regional anesthesia for diverse surgical and obstetrical procedures across all age groups, including neonatal to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients pre-operatively and collaborates with anesthesiologists to select appropriate anesthesia.
• Monitors patient intraoperatively and postoperatively to ensure stability and safety.
• Performs airway management, fluid and homeostasis maintenance, emergency response, and ventilator management.
• Prepares drugs, checks equipment, and maintains supplies and controlled substances per departmental policies.
• Communicates with surgical team regarding patient concerns and supports staff and student nurse anesthetists.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in California.
• Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist and holds advanced certifications including ACLS and BLS.
• Experience in anesthesia for major procedures across various age groups, with skills in monitoring, documentation, and equipment management.
