Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Full Time

About the role

Provides anesthesia services under medical supervision for diverse patient populations across surgical, obstetrical, and other procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Administers general and regional anesthesia, including airway management, fluid balance, monitoring, and emergency response.
  • Pre-operatively evaluates patients and collaborates with anesthesiologists and surgeons on anesthetic plans.
  • Monitors patients intraoperatively and evaluates post-operative condition within 24 hours.
  • Prepares drugs, checks equipment, maintains supplies, and ensures safe operating conditions.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, manages controlled substances, and adheres to policies and regulations.
  • Mentors student nurse anesthetists and demonstrates professionalism and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
  • California Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and RN license.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and National Provider Identifier.
  • Experience with extensive anesthesia procedures across all age groups.
  • Strong technical, clinical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated professional skill within California scope of practice.
  • Experience in complex anesthesia cases and staff development.
