Job Summary Provides comprehensive anesthesia care, including pre-anesthetic evaluation, administration of anesthetic agents, and post-anesthesia support. Supports vital functions during peri-operative periods, monitors patient responses, and manages emergencies. Collaborates with medical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Responsibilities Conducts pre-anesthetic assessments, obtains health histories, and evaluates diagnostic studies.Documents evaluations, secures informed consent, and administers pre-anesthetic medications.Prepares and administers anesthesia, manages airway, performs invasive procedures, and monitors patient vital signs.Assesses patient recovery, manages complications, and documents care provided.Responds to emergencies, participates in resuscitation efforts, and provides respiratory and ventilatory support.Ensures equipment safety, sterilizes tools, and orders supplies as needed.Performs procedures outside the OR and provides direct patient care within scope of practice.Incorporates organizational values into practice and participates in service evaluation. Qualifications Graduate of accredited nursing and nurse anesthesia programs.Licensed RN in the state, with Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license within 6 months.Certified Nurse Anesthetist certification, BLS, and ACLS required.Strong assessment, communication, and technical skills; proficiency in PC applications.Preferred: Two years of acute anesthesia care experience.
