Responsibilities
- Lead food service operations in a skilled nursing community
- Plan nutritious menus tailored to residents’ needs
- Oversee meal preparation and service
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
- Supervise, train, and manage dietary staff
- Handle schedules and food inventory
- Collaborate with nursing and care teams on residents’ nutrition requirements
- Create a welcoming dining environment that promotes dignity, comfort, and quality of life
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in dietary or food service leadership
- Strong organizational skills
- Compassionate, team-oriented approach
- Certified Dietary Manager credential required or must be obtained
- Applicable food safety certification required or must be obtained
