Cashier/Food Prep--Private School
About the role
If you're someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, friendly conversations, and the simple joy of handing someone a great meal (and maybe a perfectly brewed coffee), this could be the role for you. We're looking for a Cashier/Food Prep team member who can keep the line moving, the register balanced, and the snack station stocked—basically the hero behind the scenes who makes lunchtime run smoothly. One minute you might be greeting students with a smile, the next you're prepping grab-and-go items or setting up coffee that will power the afternoon. If you enjoy working with people, take pride in keeping things organized, and like being part of a team that makes food service fun and efficient, we'd love to have you join us (bonus points if you can ring up a lunch order faster than someone can say "extra fries").
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register, calculator, scale and electronic payment systems
- Observe all company verbal and written procedures regarding cash handling
- Light food preparation including making grab and go items
- Coffee set up for catering
- Stocking and station maintenance
- Interact with customers and provide exceptional customer service in a courteous, friendly and helpful manner at all times
Qualifications
- Experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Customer focus and service orientation are a must
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $18-$19 an hour
- Schedule: 9am-4pm
