Responsibilities
- Supporting families with young children (0-5)
- Conducting developmental screenings and assessments
- Maintaining professional boundaries and building meaningful relationships
- Documenting clear, organized information to support families
- Crisis navigation skills to support families seeking shelter, childcare, healthcare, and stability
- Modeling healthy parent-child interactions
- Collaborating with teams, partners, and community resources
Requirements
- Master’s degree required in Social Work, Psychology, MFT, or related field
- 2+ years supporting families with young children (0-5)
- Experience with community outreach and working with moderate- to high-risk families
- Ability to conduct developmental screenings and assessments
- Knowledge of early childhood development and local community resources
- The ability to thrive in a multi-cultural, equity-centered environment
Qualifications
- Empathy that builds trust with families navigating stress, transitions, or crisis
- Cultural and linguistic connection through Bilingual Spanish communication
- Strong assessment instincts to identify developmental, emotional, and practical needs
- A trauma-informed approach that honors the lived experiences of every family
- Crisis navigation skills to support families seeking shelter, childcare, healthcare, and stability
- An educator's heart to model healthy parent-child interactions
- Clear, organized documentation abilities that keep families supported and programs running smoothly
- Collaboration energy to work across teams, partners, and community resources
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Home visitation experience (preferred)
