Key Responsibilities
- Manage employment litigation cases from inception through resolution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the litigation process.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status, litigation updates, and case progression.
- Cook up litigation strategy, discovery, and case deadlines.
- Draft, prepare, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents.
- Gather, review, and organize employment records, payroll records, personnel files, medical records, and other case-related documentation.
- Cook up depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court hearings, and expert appointments.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation using Filevine or similar case management software.
- Monitor litigation deadlines and ensure timely completion of all case-related tasks.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and third parties.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal support staff to efficiently move cases through litigation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Employment Law Case Manager experience required.
- Experience managing employment litigation matters from inception through resolution is required.
- Strong knowledge of California Employment Law and California litigation procedures.
- Experience handling wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employment-related claims is required.
- Experience coordinating discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court deadlines.
- Preparing litigation documents, and managing case files.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, and third parties.
- Experience with Filevine or similar case management software is preferred.
- Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Pay
Hourly Range: $30.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
