Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Provide emotional support and counseling to residents
• Ensure the safety and security of all shelter residents
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with vulnerable populations
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for helping others and a commitment to social justice
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
