Care Support Specialist
About the role
We care for seniors and families during critical moments. This is not just an office job; you'll be one of the people helping families, caregivers, and seniors.
Responsibilities
- Be the first voice families, caregivers, and referral partners hear when they call our agency
- Carefully coordinate caregiver schedules, shift coverage, and last-minute changes with urgency and professionalism
- Support new client inquiries and help families feel heard, informed, and cared for from the very first conversation
- Keep daily operations organized through documentation, follow-ups, communication, and administrative support
- Help solve problems proactively instead of waiting for someone else to step in
- Participate in a rotating evening/weekend on-call schedule as part of a supportive team
Requirements
- Someone warm, professional, and confident on the phone
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Calm and solution-oriented when things get busy or unexpected
- Dependable and trustworthy because families and caregivers will rely on you
- Able to take ownership, care about doing things well, and want to be part of a mission-driven team
- Experience in home care, healthcare, staffing, scheduling, customer service, or office administration is a plus but not required

Schedule
