About the role
Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders through invasive and non-invasive tests.
Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray, physiological, and special procedure equipment, ensuring proper calibration and troubleshooting.
- Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs during procedures, adhering to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Support during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including catheterization and administration of media.
- Maintain equipment, prepare documentation, and ensure a clean, organized procedure area.
- Perform general office duties and manage supplies as needed.
Requirements
- ARRT-R certification
- Oregon Radiologic Technologist License
- CPR/BLS certification
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in operating special procedure and physiologic equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and maintain sterile techniques
- Preferred: Associate's degree or related experience
- Preferred: One year of catheterization experience
