Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist - Full Time Day Shift

About the role

Provides support to physicians in diagnosing and treating heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders through invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. Operates x-ray and physiological equipment, assists with procedures, maintains equipment, and records test results.

Responsibilities

• Assist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, operating specialized equipment and adjusting technical factors as needed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, ensuring radiation safety and maintaining sterile techniques.
• Operate and troubleshoot cardiac catheterization and monitoring equipment, performing preventive maintenance.
• Support physicians during procedures involving catheterization and imaging, including administration of contrast media.
• Complete documentation, manage equipment and supply stock, and ensure a clean, sterile environment.
• Perform general office tasks and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
• One year catheterization experience (preferred).
• Current ARRT-R and OBMI Radiologic Technologist License (required in OR).
• CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

Skills

• Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and infection control.
• Strong attention to detail, patient safety, and team collaboration skills.
