Responsibilities
- Assist with 1-3 cardiac surgeries daily
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure continuity of care
- Provide specialized inpatient cardiothoracic surgical coverage
- Participate in on-call rotations, including one night per week and one weekend per month
Schedule
Four 10-hour day shifts per week, with call duties as described.
Qualifications & Skills
- Board certification required
- Experience in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
- Ability to manage comprehensive patient care in a surgical environment
- Strong collaboration skills within a surgical team
- No clinic responsibilities; focus solely on inpatient surgical coverage
