About the role
This is an inpatient and operating room position for a Physician Assistant (PA) providing comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical coverage within a Level 2 trauma center that offers advanced ICU and OR capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and aortic valve procedures
- Manage adult patients throughout the surgical continuum
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
- Prescriptive Authority
- Experience in adult cardiothoracic surgery
- On-site work required
Schedule
- 8–10 hour day shifts with call responsibilities
- Rotating schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
