This role is for a Physician Assistant (PA) providing inpatient cardiothoracic surgical coverage in a Level 1 trauma facility.
Responsibilities
- Manage an average of 10 patients daily during Monday through Friday day shifts
- Perform call and 24-hour call duties as needed
- Operate autonomously without on-site supervision
- Document all patient encounters and procedures in the EPIC EMR system
- Provide quality patient care within a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to protocols and manage a consistent caseload
Requirements
- Board certification is mandatory
- Recent graduates are not considered
