Capital Finance Coordinator
About the role
The Capital Finance Coordinator supports the timely and effective completion of construction projects. This role involves tracking budgets, procedures, and documentation, processing purchase requisitions, and resolving issues.
Responsibilities
- Independently completes project tasks such as analyzing, researching, reconciling, and problem-solving.
- Supports the bid review process, maintains construction project financial tracking, and adheres to procedural policies.
- Processes purchase requisitions, manages purchase orders, submits and tracks AP invoices, and assists in the tracking and submission of Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Resolves issues and errors, notifying appropriate personnel to prevent future occurrences.
- Takes an active role in improving and standardizing procedures and processes to prevent errors and improve efficiencies.
- Collaborates with the fixed asset team to provide project timelines, accurate spend detail, and timely project closeout.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a role with applicable project coordinator experience.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with invoices, purchase requisitions, and reconcile accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree, education from an accredited institution.
- Experience with accounting and database management.
- Experience in a health insurance or health care setting managing multiple scope projects.
- Experience in construction, including working with contractors.
- Strong experience with construction cost management.
Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and assess customer needs.
- Frequent interactions with contractors, colleagues, and project managers requiring verbal communication, hearing, and understanding spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
- Manual dexterity for manipulating computer equipment with precision and accuracy, including frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $22.98 - $35.00, actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
