About the role
Provides customer information within specified systems. Financial processing functions. Review and instruct on financial data.
Responsibilities
- Ensure non automated payments are processed accurately and timely.
- Creation of invoices for monthly service fees and revenue.
- Works with client on detailed reports as needed for CBP requirements.
- Work directly with FXE on account specific issues.
- Includes participation in weekly and monthly conference calls with FXE providing support to manager.
- Performs detailed research and reviews all complex entries on billing transmission error report. Utilizes FedEx ad FTN systems for research.
- Utilizes Duplex/Cargowise and CODA system applications in order to initiate CBP disputes/claims in the dispute tracking system to communicate on financial status of file.
- Provide detailed entry history report information to clients upon request.
- Create and maintain billing for revenue on these services.
- Responsible for issuing checks to CBP for Liquidated Damages, Customs rejects, certified entries and any additional duties as needed.
- Ensures correct billings are issued for these services.
- Create billing transactions for account corrections and reconciliation.
- Monthly billing of service fees to FedEx GTS. This includes the contracted ECO revenue along with all documented detailed backup.
- FDA, F&W, SBP, OGA, additional line fees as well as entry filing and submission to CBP.
- Works with finance department on various billing and account reconciliation issues ensuring SOX compliance.
- Work closely with other internal staff, departments and customers directly to deliver high level of service to customers.
- Performs other or additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of business or customer service experience preferred.
- Required - MS Office, Outlook, Office equipment (phone, copier, printer, scanner).
- Interact with customers, internal staff/departments and management of all levels.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Outlook.
- Previous office experience.
Pay
$18.87 - $26.42 USD
Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (Hybrid). Must live within 50 miles from location.
