About You

You are a creative, energetic, and highly organized field marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys connecting directly with consumers and retail partners. You understand how to bring a brand to life through engaging experiences, exceptional retail execution, and strong relationship-building. You combine creativity with discipline, ensuring all field activity is compliant, impactful, and aligned with sales and marketing goals. You are confident, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple activations, communications, and reporting requirements with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

  • Services new and existing accounts, obtains orders
  • Enters wholesale sales into the applicable software or POS systems
  • Focuses sales efforts by opening new doors and managing those relationships
  • Identifies new or trending products to add to the products offered
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and category analyses
  • Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Acts as a company ambassador and represents the brand appropriately
  • Builds relationships with community leaders and earns trust from neighbors
  • Follows and implements the company’s core values, including respect, diversity, sustainability, research, and service
  • Ensures adherence to the company’s cultural principles
  • Participates in and embraces a highly motivated team environment
  • Implements brand sales marketing strategies
  • Learns and keeps up with innovative technology trends
  • Utilizes internal and external information to understand federal and state laws and industry trends regarding medical marijuana

Requirements

  • Demonstrated network connections in the market
  • Proven results in managing sales programs and portfolios of initiatives through excellent influence skills
  • Ability to drive process, efficiency, and growth improvements
  • Big-picture thinker, strategic, but able to distill functions and business interactions into process and workflow to drive improvement and efficiency gains
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective and persuasive communicator with outstanding presence, presentation, and negotiation skills that constantly strives for simplicity and clarity
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to travel as needed, including weekends, to drive sales
  • Excellent presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office tools

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to work in the following conditions: general office environment, extended computer usage, extended phone usage including teleconferences, and environments that include exposure to fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise

Pay

Starting Pay Rate: $50,000 + Commission
