Call Center Representative - $20/hr.

TEKsystems is hiring several Call Center Agents for a large financial institution in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a fully onsite, 7-month contract-to-hire position starting on 09/24/2026.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST.

Prospect, Kentucky 40222.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Call center experience
• Must pass a 10–15-minute Call Center Assessment and a Chat Simulation (use a computer/laptop)
• Strong verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex information clearly and patiently
• Ability to handle in-depth, sensitive, and highly confidential conversations
• Stable work history (no “jumpy” tenures)
• Self-motivated with a drive to advance your career
• Ability to quickly navigate system applications, answer calls within 30 seconds, and complete customer requests accurately
• Must pass a drug test and have no time off in the first 90 days
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Handle 60+ inbound calls daily from businesses using tax software and consumers inquiring about the Refund Advantage program
• During low call volume, make outbound “Discovery” calls to past customers to gauge interest in reusing the service; transfer interested callers to the Sales Department
• Conduct chat support in addition to phone calls
• Document every inbound and outbound call for trend analysis
• Maintain multiple customer interactions while ensuring accuracy
• Keep overall call volume and service levels at or above 90%

Pay

$20.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
