Call Center Representative - $20/hr.

TEKsystems is seeking several Call Center Agents for a large financial institution in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a fully onsite, 7-month contract-to-hire position.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Prior call center experience
• Must pass a 10–15-minute Call Center Assessment and a Chat Simulation (use a computer/laptop)
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and patiently
• Ability to handle in-depth, sensitive, and highly confidential conversations
• Stable work history (no “jumpy” tenures)
• Self-motivated with a drive to advance your career
• Ability to navigate system applications quickly, answer calls within 30 seconds, and complete customer requests accurately
• Must pass a drug test and have no time off in the first 90 days
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Handle 60+ inbound calls daily from businesses using tax software and consumers inquiring about the Refund Advantage program
• During low call volume, make outbound “Discovery” calls to past customers to gauge interest in reusing services; transfer interested customers to the Sales Department
• Perform chat support work
• Document all incoming and outbound calls for trend analysis
• Manage multiple customer interactions while maintaining accuracy
• Maintain call volume and service levels at 90% or above

Pay

$20.00/hour. Individual compensation within this range depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.
