About the role
A trading firm in Manhattan, New York is seeking C++ developers for their low latency trading systems technology team. While prior experience in finance is preferred, the team is open to highly skilled candidates from outside the industry. Strong C++ skills are essential, including proficiency with STL/Boost, Linux/Unix, and relevant technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain low latency trading systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance
- Implement and optimize algorithms for high-frequency trading
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of trading strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience
- Experience with C++ and related technologies
- Strong understanding of low latency trading principles and practices
- Knowledge of financial markets and trading systems
