This position supports the BYC Targeted Services After School Program at the middle school level, working under the direction of the BYC Site Lead. Non-licensed instructional staff will assist licensed teachers in implementing BYC instructional programming, including classroom instruction, enrichment activities, supervision of snack and busing, and student behavior.
Schedule
- Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
- Times: 2:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
- Start Date: October 20, 2026
- End Date: March 25, 2027
Location: BYC Programming will be held at Eagle Ridge and Nicollet Middle Schools in ISD 191.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed teachers in implementing BYC instructional programming
- Support classroom instruction and enrichment activities
- Supervise students during snack time and busing
- Assist with student behavior management
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Successful background check
- Previous experience supporting school-age students
Pay
Compensation is per bargaining unit agreement or $19.00/hour, whichever hourly rate is higher.
