The BYC (Burnsville Youth Collaborative) Targeted Services After-School Program at the middle school level seeks licensed teachers with an innovative, creative approach to education to spark wonder and curiosity in learners. Responsibilities

• Teach students in grades 6–8 within the BYC after-school program
• Deliver instruction aligned with Project-Based Learning at the middle school level
• Utilize data to inform and adapt instruction
• Engage in team teaching and coordinate youth activities
• Supervise students during program hours

Schedule

• Days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
• Times: 2:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
• Program Dates: October 20, 2026 – March 25, 2027
• Locations: Eagle Ridge and Nicollet Middle Schools, ISD 191

Requirements

• Current Minnesota Teaching License

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Targeted Services programming
• Experience with Project-Based Learning at the elementary/middle level
• Experience utilizing data to inform instruction
• Experience with team teaching
• Experience in youth activity coordination
• Coaching experience
• Experience supervising students

Pay

$32.25 per instructional hour
