HHMR is a boutique litigation firm representing builders, developers, and contractors throughout Colorado in complex construction defect and casualty matters. We are seeking two motivated Litigation Associates with 2 to 6 years of litigation experience to join our busy team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring strategic alignment with client goals.
  • Draft, review, and argue motions, leveraging your legal acumen to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Conduct depositions and interviews with witnesses and experts to gather critical case information.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies that align with their business objectives and legal needs.
  • Participate actively in settlement negotiations, aiming for favorable outcomes that meet client expectations.
  • Research and analyze legal precedents to support case strategies and enhance litigation outcomes.
  • Mentor junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment at HHMR.

Qualifications

  • Experience in litigation, with a focus on construction and casualty cases, for two to six years.
  • Ability to lead and manage cases from inception to resolution, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Proven track record of drafting, reviewing, and arguing motions effectively.
  • Experience conducting depositions and interviews with witnesses and experts.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients to develop case strategies that align with their business objectives.
  • Experience participating in settlement negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to support case strategies and enhance litigation outcomes.
