Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims
- Handle payment disputes including mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims
- Advise on breach of contract matters and related litigation
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts, change orders, and related agreements
- Support dispute resolution strategy from pre-litigation through trial or arbitration
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of construction litigation or equivalent experience
- Experience litigating a broad range of construction disputes
- Exposure to contract drafting and negotiation within the construction context is advantageous
- Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Prior AmLaw 100 experience and/or judicial clerkship preferred
- Admitted to practice in California
Compensation
- Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (DOE)
