About the role
Loyal Source is seeking a Business Compliance Administrator to support a client in Boca Raton, FL. The role is a short-term contract lasting until October, with a hybrid schedule consisting of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and licensing compliance support to the client's business entities.
- Complete state and local contractor and business licensing applications.
- Correspond with governmental agencies and coordinate with internal departments.
- Research and interpret various state, local, and county regulations and codes for license compliance.
- Monitor for changes and revisions to regulations and codes impacting contractor licensure.
- Review rules and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Support the leadership team and business managers with addressing licensing compliance issues.
- Coordinate and secure bonds, insurance certifications, personal information, W9s, license fees, background checks, and fingerprints required for licensing.
- Support the business with vendor registrations and other licensing-related requirements.
- Support special company projects as requested.
- Communicate with the Accounts Payable team for check requests.
Requirements
- Any combination of four (4) years of higher education and/or applicable work experience.
- A minimum of an associate’s degree or certification in paralegal studies.
- A minimum of 2 years of licensing or equivalent experience.
- Unwavering integrity.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
- Organized and action-oriented individual capable of dealing with ambiguity.
- Proficiency in utilizing computer technology, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- A commitment to the team player approach.
- Maintain files of all documentation associated with licensing.
Preferred
- Paralegal experience.
Pay
$40/hr
Schedule
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
