Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute brand and profile enhancement opportunities for TMT industry-focused attorneys, such as speaking engagements and panel discussions.
  • Support attorneys in preparing compelling presentations and messaging.
  • Tactical execution of events, including digital invitation distribution, RSVP tracking, session material creation, and client/virtual attendance.
  • Drive and track post-event client follow-ups to maximize ROI.
  • Manage and enhance key client relationships with major US and global tech companies.
  • Develop tailored pitches, RFP responses, and panel submissions, ensuring swift and effective delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in the firm's business development approach, sharing knowledge and data through centralized tools.
  • Balance US-focused responsibilities with contributions to global strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Three to five years' experience in business development within a professional services firm, preferably with a law firm or corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Technology industry is desired, with direct work experience a plus.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to diverse work styles.
  • Professional, highly motivated individual capable of handling tight deadlines and high expectations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of role and responsibilities.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, independent thinking, and sound judgment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, focusing on building strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills, managing multiple deadlines and changing project criteria.
  • Natural curiosity and dedication to learning, aiming to grow into a well-rounded business development practitioner.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Docs, Apple Pages preferred.
  • Experience with Foundation, Salesforce, and SharePoint systems preferred.

Key Requirements

  • BA/BS Required.

  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a focus on building strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills and demonstrated capabilities to manage multiple deadlines, changing project criteria and maintaining calm under pressure.
  • Natural curiosity and dedication to learning; passion to grow into a well-rounded business development practitioner.

Compensation Range

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,000 to $120,000.
