Responsibilities
- Exceed your monthly quota by assessing a prospect's "fit"
- Acquire/generate qualified business leads through cold calling and prospect engagement
- Document, track, and monitor all leads and activities in Salesforce.com
- Use smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably with decision-makers like VPs, Directors, and C-suite personnel
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of NAVEX's full range of risk and compliance solutions and services
- Nurture relationships with longer-term prospects
- Implement territory development best practices using sales enablement tools
Requirements
- Previous sales, telemarketing, or lead generation experience
- Experience in the cloud computing and SaaS industries is preferred
- Technical acumen to quickly ramp up on core technologies such as Salesforce, Groove, etc.
- A tenacious work ethic with a desire to excel in sales
- Grit and curiosity to set and achieve big goals
- A strong desire to meet and exceed monthly quotas, maintain a high call rate, and assess prospect fit
- A modest yet assertive and confident demeanor with empathy and compassion
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, managing multiple priorities
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage and influence executive-level decision-makers
