About the role
BambooHR is seeking an Outbound BDR to join our dynamic team. As a BDR, you will be responsible for initiating contact with new leads, qualifying prospects, and managing complex sales situations to drive sales success.
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with new leads without needing external prompts as a proactive BDR.
- Maintain a high volume of cold calls each day, viewing rejection as a learning opportunity.
- Build strong relationships with prospects, prioritizing meaningful connections over quick sales.
- Collaborate with team members, sharing successful strategies and supporting team goals.
- Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to shape your territory planning and account strategy as a BDR.
- Adapt to changes in team dynamics, leadership, or roles while maintaining productivity.
Requirements
- 1-2 years' experience as an SDR or BDR identifying and qualifying sales opportunities while articulating product value propositions via phone and email preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets set for BDRs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Strong organizational skills to keep detailed records and prioritize tasks.
- High emotional intelligence to build rapport and maintain professionalism during conflicts.
- Able to achieve monthly performance KPIs and opportunity creation quotas for BDRs.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role with in-office work mode Tuesday through Thursday at our beautiful Draper campus.
