Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with company growth goals in the Texas market.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including developers, municipalities, public agencies, engineers, and industrial clients.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities across heavy civil, water/wastewater, utilities, and data center infrastructure sectors.
- Lead pursuit strategy including opportunity qualification, client engagement, competitive positioning, and teaming strategies.
- Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams to support proposals, presentations, and project capture efforts.
- Develop and maintain an active pipeline using CRM tools, while providing regular reporting and revenue forecasts to leadership.
- Represent the company at industry events and strengthen partnerships with contractors, engineering firms, and strategic partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of business development experience in heavy civil construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Established network and relationships with owners, engineers, developers, or public agencies in Texas.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, build pipeline, and contribute to winning major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction delivery methods including hard bid, negotiated, design-build, and CMAR.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally as required.
