Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Install Manager to grow and manage a turnkey installed-sales business. This role combines outside sales, business development, estimating, installer/subcontractor management, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business with general contractors, home builders, remodelers, developers, property managers, and commercial customers.
- Sell complete building materials + professional installation solutions.
- Conduct outside sales calls, customer meetings, consultations, and jobsite visits.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, scopes of work, and project pricing.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and close profitable business.
- Source, qualify, and manage installers and subcontractors.
- Verify installer qualifications, insurance, licensing, certifications, and pricing.
- Cook up projects from contract through completion, including change orders, punch lists, warranty issues, and closeout.

- Coordinate installers, customers, material deliveries, scheduling, and jobsite readiness.
- Resolve project issues and ensure work meets approved scope, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for repeat and additional business.
- Track project profitability, job costing, margins, and estimate-to-actual performance.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in installed building-material sales, construction sales, project management, installer/subcontractor management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, installation processes, estimating, and project coordination.
- Experience managing subcontractors/installers and coordinating multiple projects.
- Understanding of construction contracts, change orders, permits, inspections, and building-code fundamentals.
- Strong sales, negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage customer relationships while protecting sales, gross margins, quality, and project timelines.
- Proficiency with computers and standard business/project management tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to jobsites and customer locations.
