Business Development Manager

About the role

Join our team as a Business Development Manager and play a key role in building relationships, solving customer challenges, and identifying new opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and on-site visits
• Partner with customers to understand their needs and identify solutions that support their goals
• Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the sales process, from initial discussions through project launch
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted markets
• Grow market share by developing new customer relationships and expanding existing partnerships
• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to support strategic growth initiatives
• Work closely with engineering, program management, and internal teams to develop proposals and support new business opportunities
• Collaborate with customer engineering and technical teams to support product specifications and performance requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing sales experience
• Strong relationship-building and customer management skills
• Able to identify new business opportunities and drive account growth
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent technical experience considered
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–30%
• Bonus: Familiarity with braking systems, mobile equipment, chassis components, or other engineered products
• Bonus: Experience supporting powersports, agriculture, construction, industrial, or automotive markets
