Duties and Responsibilities
- Scheduling appointments and meeting customers to identify and qualify potential prospects and present current product offers.
- Utilize materials and resources provided to systematically call upon all businesses in your area, understanding what those businesses do and who the key players are.
- Effective planning to conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically on a daily basis.
- Provide professional demonstrations or presentations of Company products and services while onsite.
- Liaising between the Company and the customers for up-to-date pricing, service, and latest product-release launches.
- Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through research, networking, Social Media such as Facebook, Constant Contact Campaigns, and cold-calling.
- Adequately communicates the scope of the work and needs of the customer to the Designers and Production staff.
- Enhancing up-to-date knowledge on new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending training and other meetings.
- Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner.
- Effectively attending conferences and trade shows, where applicable.
- Using marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.
- Preparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining accurate expense accounts.
- Updating and maintaining customer account records, including contact names and numbers for future sales.
- Providing product quotes to customers as needed.
Qualifications
- Good communication and people skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be easy-going, adaptable, quality conscious and professional
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Well organized and people person with excellent phone handling skills
- Able to cross sell and up sell products and services
- Knowledge and application of printing concepts
- Able to work collaboratively
- High energy level
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
