About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Breast Imaging.
Responsibilities
- Daily clinical supervision of residents and breast radiology fellows
- Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments
- Preparing learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review
- Serving in an educational leadership role within the Breast Radiology Division
- Utilizing the most advanced breast imaging technology available to provide individually tailored, comprehensive evaluations for the early and precise detection and diagnosis of breast diseases
- Conducting high-quality interventional breast procedures, including mammographic, sonographic, and MRI guided biopsies
- Representing breast radiology to committees of the department, hospital(s) or School of Medicine
- Serving as Lead Interpreting Physician
- Developing operational oversight and efficiency
- Designated roles within the department
Requirements
- An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with sub-specialty training in Breast Radiology
