Breast Imaging - Academic Clinician - Senior Ranks

About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Breast Imaging.

Responsibilities

• Daily clinical supervision of residents and breast radiology fellows
• Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments
• Preparing learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review
• Serving in an educational leadership role within the Breast Radiology Division
• Utilizing the most advanced breast imaging technology available to provide individually tailored, comprehensive evaluations for the early and precise detection and diagnosis of breast diseases
• Conducting high-quality interventional breast procedures, including mammographic, sonographic, and MRI guided biopsies
• Representing breast radiology to committees of the department, hospital(s) or School of Medicine
• Serving as Lead Interpreting Physician
• Developing operational oversight and efficiency
• Designated roles within the department

Requirements

• An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with sub-specialty training in Breast Radiology
