About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Daily clinical supervision of residents and cardiovascular imaging fellows
- Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments
- Preparing learning materials and lectures, as well as teaching posters and presentations, for national review
- Serving in an educational leadership role within the Cardiovascular Imaging Division
- Mentoring junior faculty
- Interpreting in all aspects of cardiovascular radiology, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and vascular CTA and MRA
- Participating in shared after-hours and weekend coverage
Requirements
- An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility with appropriate sub-specialty training
- 3-5 years of experience
