Responsibilities

The Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for ensuring guests have a positive dining experience during breakfast service.

  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet or menu items. Ensure food is fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed. Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and address their questions or needs. Assist with special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions).
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the breakfast area clean and organized, including tables, counters, and buffet stations. Restock supplies like plates, utensils, and condiments.
  • Inventory and Restocking: Monitor inventory and report low supplies to management. Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines. Follow hotel policies and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service
  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests and address their needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Ability to prepare and handle food safely
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with coworkers.
