Branch Vice President
About the role
DuraServ is seeking a Branch Vice President to lead performance through people, process, and operational discipline. This role focuses on driving performance rather than personal quotas.
Responsibilities
Manage overall branch operations, including sales execution, service delivery, staffing, training, inventory, facilities, and financial controls.
Monitor and drive branch financial performance to achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets.
Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the branch and participate in budget development with regional leadership.
Maintain and apply current knowledge of markets served, customers, vendors, and competitors to keep the branch positioned to win.
Directly lead the branch sales team, setting targets, coaching performance, and building a culture of accountability and results.
Lead quoting, scheduling, and job execution to ensure service work and projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.
Build and manage customer relationships that drive satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Enforce safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across branch operations, including routine field and warehouse audits and corrective action follow-through.
Lead the service team through subordinate managers and directly develop the sales professionals under your leadership.
Coach and develop the team on technical skills, sales skills, and professional standards.
Ensure staffing levels, training cadence, and performance management practices keep the branch operating at full capacity.
Requirements
A proven operational leader with experience running a P&L.
A developer of people who has built teams, coached underperformers, and created cultures where accountability and results are the standard.
A sound business decision-maker who uses market knowledge, financial data, and customer intelligence to make calls that move the branch forward.
A customer relationship leader who engages at the senior level, resolves escalations, and sets the tone for how the branch treats every account.
An operationally fluent individual comfortable managing inventory, facilities, scheduling, and compliance in a multi-function branch environment.
An excellent communicator across your team, with customers, with vendors, and with regional leadership above you.
Qualifications
5+ years of combined B2B sales and operational leadership experience, with a background in industrial or distribution services.
Bachelor's degree highly preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
Previous experience managing sales professionals is strongly preferred.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
