Biopharma Account Executive
This role is focused on promoting and selling Bio-Rad’s Genomics and Proteomics solutions—including Droplet Digital PCR, qPCR, Imaging, and Western Blotting workflows—to meet revenue goals. The schedule is driven by strategic territory planning and opportunity management, often collaborating with peers across the Cell Biology portfolio, Global Strategic Accounts, and Field Applications Scientists to deliver comprehensive customer solutions. You will engage cross-functional teams such as Technical Support, Customer Care, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining regular communication with the Regional Manager to report on sales activities, market trends, and forecasts.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan.
- Promote and sell the Bio-Rad Genomics and Proteomics Portfolio to achieve Territory Sales Goals.
- Build, manage, and grow the Sales Opportunity Funnel.
- Identify, prospect, develop, and nurture new sales opportunities.
- Manage and meet customer deadlines.
- Partner with the Sales Team to ensure achievement of Territory Sales Goals.
- Utilize various Bio-Rad departments (Technical Support, Customer Care, Marketing, and other personnel) to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Proactively update CRM (SFDC) on a daily basis.
- Proactively communicate with the Regional Manager on activities, market trends, opportunities, and forecast.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills within Bio-Rad and externally with customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a life science discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in a medical product setting, selling equipment or software, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced laboratory skills preferred.
- Advanced business acumen with the ability to articulate financial justification both internally and externally.
- Excellent closing, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Intermediate knowledge of computer use and software programs, e.g., Microsoft Office.
- Must live within the California region and be able to visit customers on-site on a daily basis.

Pay
The estimated base salary range for this position is $121,200 to $166,700 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job-related factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
