BIM Project Manager

About the role

The BIM Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects within a construction firm. This individual must possess strong leadership skills, proficiency in BIM software, and experience managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models for all project phases.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of BIM data.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to BIM.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members on BIM best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM project management.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED certification.
• Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Knowledge of building codes and local regulations.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule
