Billing Analyst

About the role

As a Billing Analyst at IDeaS, you will support the Finance leadership in managing and corporate accounting responsibilities. This includes maintaining accurate financial information, ensuring internal controls are preserved, and engaging with cross-functional internal partners to properly control the invoicing and related revenue recognition for our SaaS-based business model.

Responsibilities

• Control the invoicing process for sales of revenue management software solutions to hospitality-based clients
• Review sales contracts for billing terms, price, and product validation, etc.
• Communicate with clients (internal and external) to resolve invoicing questions
• Apply revenue recognition criteria to record revenue on client sales
• Process credit requests to accurately align revenue impacts
• Auxiliary in the preparation of audit activities
• Prepare various analytical reports for management as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2+ years billing revenue experience, preferably in a SaaS based business model or similar industry
• 3 years’ experience working with ERP Software, preferably Salesforce.com
• Experience with invoicing and billing controls associated with sales contracts
• Experience with multi-currency

Qualifications

• Proven excellence in written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
