About the role
The Bilingual Recruiter will source, screen, schedule, interview, assess, and hire lease employees while ensuring high standards of customer service. This role focuses on building relationships with customers and lease employees, and ensuring drivers meet Centerline Hiring Requirements and DOT Requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies aligned with company business goals.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process: sourcing, scheduling, and interviewing.
- Develop and maintain contacts with schools, employment agencies, and public organizations to attract applicants.
- Create an efficient recruiting process that meets client needs.
- Coordinate participation in job fairs, including setup and staffing.
- Manage internet recruiting tools (e.g., CareerBuilder, Indeed, Craigslist) daily.
- Develop and execute a recruiting plan, including delivering effective orientations.
- Create and maintain weekly reports on recruitment activities, applicant flow, and hires.
- Conduct semi-annual reviews of Driver Qualification files to ensure compliance.
- Actively participate in the hiring, supervision, discipline, and termination of lease personnel.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements, such as equal employment opportunity laws.
Requirements
- Associate degree and at least two (2) years of related recruiting, staffing, and/or transportation experience OR four (4) years of related experience.
- Ability to market and sell the company’s attributes to external candidates.
- Proven success in developing and maintaining professional contacts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel. Knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels of management and employees.
- Experience developing and utilizing behavioral-based interviewing techniques.
- Functional knowledge of Federal and State Human Resources/Recruiting regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and a car that can be used for work.
- Bilingual in Spanish (required).
Pay
Salary range: $55,180.07 – $68,975.09 annually, depending on experience and geographic location, plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.
