About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and dynamic Consulting Recruiter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your full-cycle recruiting skills to identify, engage, and hire individuals with disabilities for our organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process from beginning to end, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, checking references, and facilitating onboarding.
- Work closely with our management team to understand their hiring needs and build a pipeline of quality candidates.
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract, screen, and hire qualified applicants for AbilityOne roles within nonprofits serving individuals with disabilities.
- Conduct comprehensive outreach to potential candidates through various channels, including job postings, social media, and career fairs.
- Review and assess applicants' education, experience, and qualifications to match them with suitable AbilityOne roles.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring that all candidates are treated with dignity and respect.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the requirements of each role and the competencies needed for success.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates during the onboarding process.
- Establish strong relationships with nonprofit organizations and vocational counselors to enhance our recruitment network.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting methods, labor legislation, and industry trends.
- Create and present recruitment metrics reports to management.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on the nonprofit sector.
- Proven experience in sourcing and recruiting for AbilityOne roles.
- Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of the nonprofit industry, particularly organizations serving individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in conducting outreach and establishing relationships with potential candidates and organizations.
- A solid understanding of onboarding processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Human Resources or Recruiting (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CIR, ACIR, CDR, CSSR, PRC, ECRE) is a plus.
