Position Overview

As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to our Distribution Center team. You should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, payroll support and Federal and State law compliance.
A Day In The Life
- Process various time-sensitive data entry, uploads, exports and transactional requests from HR, the business and associates related to status changes in the HRIS and all applicable systems.
- Prepare new hire orientation material and maintain data entry for new hires as well as conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Manage, track and ensure compliance on all associate information and documentation as dictated by governing policies, including new hire required documentation, associate performance reviews, progressive discipline and terminations.
- Serve as a liaison between Distribution Center associates and Corporate Benefits department to support and resolve benefits inquiries.
- Support the Distribution Centers with the planning, communicating and tracking of company-wide initiatives, events and objectives throughout the year as well as the daily associate inquiries.
- Advise and assist Managers and Supervisors on interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Background and understanding of basic Human Resources principles
- Proactive work ethic; ability to work autonomously as well as with a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Human Resources experience in a Distribution Center environment preferred
- Bilingual capability required; strong preference for candidates fluent in Spanish or Haitian-Creole

- A: MONDAY - THURSDAY 9:30AM-8:30PM
- B: TUESDAY - SATURDAY 8:00AM-5:00PM
