Bilingual HR Assistant - PT

Superior Metal Technologies is seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant for our 120,000 square-foot facility. This role supports our HR department on day shift, typically 8 to 10-hour shifts Monday to Friday (weekends as needed).

Schedule

Part-time, 25 to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding: job ads, interview coordination, candidate contact, and new-hire facilitation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, update HR databases, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Support benefits administration: enrollment, health-insurance questions, retirement plans, and other HR programs.
• Provide payroll support: assist with processing, track attendance, disciplines, and compensation records.
• Act as liaison between employees and HR manager, address routine inquiries, and direct employees to appropriate resources.
• Coordinate HR events, policies, training programs, internal communications, and support HR projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred).
• 1–2 years of administrative experience, internships, or coursework in HR.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and lean methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS systems, Workspace, Google, and ATS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
• Solid understanding of HR policies, labor laws, benefits administration, and onboarding procedures.
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.

Pay
