Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure.
- Aid with luggage, including loading and unloading from vehicles.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features and hotel amenities.
- Respond to guest requests for assistance and information about the hotel and local area.
- Deliver items such as messages, packages, amenities, and room service orders to guest rooms.
- Provide directions and recommendations for dining, entertainment, and attractions.
- Arrange for transportation services such as taxis, shuttle buses, and car rentals.
- Assist with valet parking services, if applicable.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bell stand and luggage storage areas.
- Assist with the management of luggage storage, including tagging, logging, and retrieving stored luggage.
- Support the front desk staff with check-in and check-out processes, as needed.
- Ensure the safety and security of guest belongings.
- Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to management.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
