Maintained Functions

  • Maintains responsibility for all aspects of clinical program management including client enrollment and progress, program outcomes, productivity, staffing, professional development, project planning, incident management, quality management, risk management, statistical reporting, policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance
  • Plans, develops, and leads department meetings and ensures departmental communication
  • Develops performance metrics, measures staff performance using appropriate tools and rubrics, and conducts assigned performance reviews as scheduled
  • Achieves financial objectives by providing input for and adhering to the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, producing successful audit scores, and initiating the necessary corrective actions for the program
  • Addresses and manages employee performance issues, disciplinary issues, and training deficiencies for department members, and directs and implements positive management techniques for continual performance improvements
  • Ensures monitoring procedures exist, provides feedback, and directs team members in drafting treatment plans and crisis intervention plans to ensure best practices are considered and followed
  • Develops and provides training to Vista employees and stakeholders on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other relevant topics
  • Maintains accurate and complete records as required, including data collection, analysis, program planning, progress reporting and billing, and approval of records for department members as needed

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position is responsible for supervising the Assistant Behavior Consultants, Behavior Consultants, Behavior Analysts, and Behavior Technician Supervisors within Vista’s EIBS programs.

  • Assignment may require the ability to physically move clients during possible physical interventions in order to maintain a safe learning environment.
  • The position requires that an individual be able to learn new tasks quickly and effectively.

Expected Schedule

  • This is a full-time position with a minimum 40-hour per workweek expectation.
  • Days and hours of the workweek are agreed upon by management and determined by program needs.
  • Attendance at staff meetings and assigned trainings is required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a field related to Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Early Intervention, Education, Special Education, or Family Studies required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing Autism and/or Behavioral Programming required
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience required
  • BCBA required
  • Behavior Specialist License required
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements
