Behavioral Health Manager

About the role

The Behavioral Health Manager is responsible for overseeing the mental health services provided at our facility. This role involves managing a team of therapists and ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the behavioral health department
• Manage a team of therapists and ensure their professional development
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for patient care
• Collaborate with other departments to improve patient outcomes
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health
• Current license to practice as a Mental Health Professional
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
